Department of Computer Science & Engineeering

Department of Computer Science and Engineering at VIST focuses on practical exposure along withtechnology. Computer Science Engineering also includes core subjects of computer science such as thetheory of computation, design analysis of algorithms, data structures, and database systems. Hands-onpractices on RGPV subjects like Operating System, DBMS, Computer Network, Software Engineering,Cloud Computing, Computer architecture, Cryptography, machine learning and Soft Computing are part ofthe industry-oriented teaching modules that students work on at vidhyapeeth group of institutions TheCSE department has a remarkable and extensive history, as well as an exceptional track record ofcontributions to the industry and community. The department is well known for its top-notch facilities andinstruction. B.Tech degrees are offered by the department. The Department offers a thorough curriculumwith a focus on hands-on learning that covers all facets of computer hardware and software. To provideour students with the most recent advancements in computer science and engineering, the coursestructure is up to date and includes courses on developing issues.

The Department is equipped withmodern technologies, including high-speed Ethernet and wireless networks. Our academic membersstrive to provide excellent education by integrating their extensive research knowledge with in classinstruction. A new NPTEL Chapter has been established by the Department The course program workson a study module for better learning where theory practical classes are conducted as opposed tostandard theory, practical classes. As part of its focus on industry requirements, the department impartsspecial sessions on Python, RedHat, with live major-minor project making under the able guidance oftrained faculties. Seven active labs on DSA/ADA Labs, DBMS/DOT NET Lab, Software Lab, MachineLearning Lab, Java Programming Lab, Language Lab, Basic Computer Programming Matlab Lab provideall the required training based on students’ passion.
